Retreat & programming FAQs

  • Absolutely. Rest, solitude, and time in nature are woven right into the design — this isn’t your typical workshop. Our sessions are experiential and spacious, with plenty of room to breathe, move, reflect, and just be. We’ve built downtime into the schedule, and, you’re always encouraged to listen to what you need most — whether that's joining in, wandering solo, or curling up for a well-earned nap.

  • After you register, we’ll send you a survey to gather the essentials — your travel plans, dietary needs, and a few details to make sure you’re deeply cared for (see Travel FAQ for more). We'll also invite you to reflect on what’s stirring in you — why now, why this — so we can shape an experience that meets you where you are. And before you arrive, we’ll share a preparation package, a handful of powerful prompts and activities to help you begin the journey inward, setting the stage for the adventure ahead.

  • The experience doesn’t end when you leave Baja. We’ll send you a post-retreat guide to help you land gently back home — with prompts to reflect, practices to continue, and ways to carry what you’ve uncovered into your work and life. You’ll also be invited into our ongoing community, where the connections and insights can keep unfolding long after the ocean breeze fades.

Travel FAQs

  • Getting here is easier than you might think. Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is a major hub with plenty of flight options.

Coming from the U.S.? You’ll find lots of direct flights from the west coast — especially from LA, San Francisco, and Seattle — and easy one-stop options from just about everywhere else.

Coming from Canada? Most flights have one easy connection, and there are plenty of choices to get you here without a hitch.

  • Once you enroll, we’ll gather your travel details (we’ll need them at least one week before the retreat) to help coordinate your arrival to campus. The drive from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) to Pescadero is about 70 minutes.

    You’ll have a few options:

    • We can arrange a comfortable, air-conditioned shuttle with a trusted local company (additional cost — we’ll confirm details after you register).

    • Renting a car is an option, though you likely won’t need it much — most days are full in the best kind of way.

    • Taxis are available too, though unless you’re a seasoned Mexico traveler, we don’t usually recommend them straight from the airport.

Whatever you choose, we’ll make sure you have the information you need for a smooth, stress-free arrival.

  • If you’re feeling called to explore beyond the retreat, you’re in for a treat. Just 20 minutes north of our campus lies Todos Santos — a designated Pueblo Mágico known for its vibrant arts scene, historic charm, and laid-back coastal vibe. Wander cobblestone streets lined with galleries, artisan shops, and cafés, or catch a sunset over the Pacific with a fresh margarita in hand.

Closer to home, El Pescadero offers its own magic — think lush farmland, surf-friendly beaches like Cerritos, and local gems like Hierbabuena and Baja Beans. Whether you’re up for a waterfall hike, horseback ride at sunset, or simply soaking in the Baja breeze, there’s plenty to discover.

If you’d like to extend your stay before or after the retreat, we can help with recommendations and logistics. Let us know what kind of adventure (or rest) you’re craving, and we’ll point you in the right direction.
